Ammo Deal

http://www.rguns.net/ammo.shtml#IMI762-250

Good price on 9mm, .223, and .308.

Also its brass cased, boxer primed, so its reloadable.

Wow... not bad prices... IMI... hmmm.

Re: Ammo Deal

.30 each for the .223
.25 for 45 acp
.15 for 9mm

Those are actually pretty good prices even if your a reloader because you get the brass. Especially on the 223

You guys that live on the continental US are lucky.

From what I've read on AR-15.com, I'd stay away.

Here's a couple pics from the thread mentioned above..... staying away seems like a wise choice.

Re: Ammo Deal

IMI as I recall makes the Q3131A Winchester white-box 55gr fmj 5.56

The Q3131A was rock solid stuff.

Ummm...not sure what this guy is selling but from the pictures, I'd think IMI would be horrified to have their name associated with this crap.

This stuff looks friggin dangerous. :no_ma:

Re: Ammo Deal

It's IMI rejects that are SUPPOSED to be sold only as 'parts'. IE, it's supposed to be disassembled and then sold as components of powder and bullets.

Just saying 'there's no such thing as a free lunch'.

Who ever IS selling this stuff should be ashamed of themselves. To say nothing of his legal liability.

Re: Ammo Deal

Talked to a CLEO today about ammo. I asked if he was experiencing any problems getting all the ammo they needed for the department and if so what calibers and also about cost. He relayed to me that he was having a bit of a problem with LE grade 5.56, not just getting all he needed but the cost increase was really noticeable. He did say 9mm and .40 were up a little, but no problems with supply. The department has had to cut hours and possible have some lay offs, guess that is seen all over. I mentioned .380 and they don't supply that, but when I mentioned .308 rifle ammo, he did say that some of the suppliers that sell to LE have it, but it had really gotten expensive. Don't I know?

OMG

I'm no fan of law enforcement, but these people need to be arrested for trying to sell such garbage.

T, the Chief LEO is a very good personal friend. While I might agree with you on police officers in general, a lot of the small town and city cops are ok as I have had a lot of friends in LE over the years. The state cops are the ones I have the biggest problem with. Most of those I've had contact with, I didn't like and would never have made friends with. One lady state cop being an exception, worked with her when she worked security, she was a real pistol. Being a state cop didn't change her that much either, as I ran into her in town, when she was in uniform and she started cutting up with me enough to get some strange looks from people.

Yah I wouldn't order from www.rguns.net. They apparently don't know how to run a legit business, and from what I've read online, are pretty shady.

long live gim...

You can say that again.

Please do not call and ask us to check on your order! If we must check on your order, we will place it at the back of the line. We are using all available man-hours to ship orders, and checking on a specific order delays all orders! If we have to check an order, it will then go to the back of the line. Thanks!

Dummies.

That, in my book, is a big red flag.
